Maximum SUBSIDY of up to 99%

PURPOSE

Aid for the restructuring and conversion of vineyards in Galicia to increase the competitiveness of wine-growing operations, adapt vineyard cultivation to climate change, and make it environmentallysustainable.

AMOUNTS OF AID

ELIGIBLE EXPENSES

  • Varietal conversions. 
  • Relocation of vineyards. 
  • Replanting of vineyards following mandatory uprooting for health reasons. 
  • Improvements in vineyard management techniques. 

 

NOT ELIGIBLE FOR A GRANT:  

  • Regular vineyard renewal 
  • Areas that have received this aid during the last 10 crop years 
  • Day-to-day management of a vineyard. 
  • Protection against damage caused by wildlife, birds, or hail. 
  • Windbreak Structures. 
  • Access Routes and Elevators 
  • Purchase of tractors or any other type of transport vehicle. 
  • Neither the startup nor the loss of revenue following the startup due to health reasons. 
  • Areas planted under a new-planting authorization, during the first 5 years from the date of planting. 
  • Installation of Irrigation Systems 
  • Projects carried out using secondhand materials. 
  • Start-up costs not incurred as a result of the start-up carried out when implementing the restructuring operation. 
  • VAT 
  • Restructuring and conversion of vineyards in those ha. dirrigated area where the applicant has been penalizedfor illegal use of this resource

FEATURES

  • Applications may be individual or collective. 
  • Minimum for restructuring or converting to individual applications 0.2 ha. 
  • Minimum to restructure or convert into collective petitions 1 ha. 
  • Maximum area in both cases 5 ha. 

CRITERIA: 

– Registered in the register of organic production operators for vineyard cultivation. 

– Registered in the registry of integrated production operators for vineyard cultivation. 

– Be part of an ATRIA or another equivalent organization. 

– Under 40 years old. 

– That, in the calendar year immediately preceding the submission of the application, they had taken out agricultural insurance for their farmfor the cultivation of the vineyard. 

 

 

BENEFICIARIES

  • Winegrowers and aspiring winegrowers whose vineyards are intended for the production of wine grapes and who comply with current regulations governing vineyard plantings. 
  • Winegrowers whose applications for aid were approved in previous calls for proposals under the Wine Sector Support Program, except:  

 

  1. They waived their right to assistance for a requested operation once it had been approved, unless they notified the authorities of their waiver within 10 days of receiving notification. 
  1. They did not request payment for an approved transaction after the deadline for submitting the payment request had passed during the second fiscal year following the one in which the grant was requested. 
  1. They did not carry out an approved transaction for which they requested payment. 

 

  • Do not artificially create the conditions required to meet the eligibility or priority criteria established in the regulations. 
  • Communities of property or unincorporated partnerships. 
  • The geographical scope of applications shall not exceed that of a province, unless the application concerns land covered by a protected designation of origin or protected geographical indication 
  • The use of certified rootstocks will be mandatory on all plantations.

APPLICATION DEADLINE:   From March 30, 2026, to April 27, 2026.
