IN417Z - SME Energy Voucher 2025

SUBSIDY: 80%, max. 6,000€

PURPOSE

To promote energy-efficiency projects for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and self-employed individuals in the service sector in Galicia, including energy-saving measures, energy efficiency, renewable energy, and improved energy management.

AMOUNTS OF AID

Grant covering 80% of eligible costs => maximum of 6,000€ per person.

Minimum investment: 1,000€*


*Does not apply to the energy consulting voucher. Minimum investment: €200

ELIGIBLE EXPENSES

1. Energy Advisory Voucher:

    • Energy audits: Identification of the main energy-consuming equipment, analysis of energy consumption, and proposals for improvements in energy procurement and billing, including cost estimates and projected savings.
    • Energy audits: In addition to the above, these include technical measurements such as combustion analysis, thermography, and more detailed improvement proposals (energy efficiency, renewable energy, remote management

2. Wrap-around bond:
Installation of solar control elements such as awnings and shading films to improve thermal insulation. Only 
Subsidies are available for white or black awnings (or variations thereof) without advertising.
3. Lighting Voucher:
Renovation of indoor and outdoor lighting fixtures, including display cases and signs, replacing them with 
LED technology with associated control systems to improve energy efficiency.
4. Electrical Installation Rebate: 
Improvements to electrical systems, such as the replacement of transformers and power supply systems 
uninterrupted power supply, reactive power compensation, and energy-saving filters.
5. Equipment Bonus:
Replacement of household appliances or commercial equipment (coffee makers, dishwashers, refrigerators, etc.) with 
Appliances with an energy efficiency rating of B or higher. If they do not have an official label, another system is acceptable, such as 
Eurovent. Requires the removal of the old equipment and its delivery to an authorized disposal facility.
6. Heating and Cooling Rebate:
Renovation of fixed HVAC and domestic hot water systems, including systems 
such as heat recovery systems, insulation for facilities, free cooling systems, and devices 
control systems based on outdoor temperature or CO2. An energy efficiency rating of B or higher is required.
7. Building Automation Voucher:
Implementation of home automation or building automation systems that improve energy management, such as 
Smart monitoring with the ability to detect abnormal consumption and automated processes
 
General Requirements
 
    • The work to be performed must be clearly described in a technical report.
    • Only new equipment or facilities that represent a verifiable energy improvement compared to the initial situation are eligible for subsidies
Exclusions:
a) Legalization fees.
b) Value-Added Tax (VAT).
c) Expenses incurred for the payment of licenses, expenses subject to duties, the purchase of secondhand goods, and those classified as such in Article 29 of Law 9/2007, of June 13, on subsidies in Galicia.
d) Maintenance operations (such as the simple replacement of light bulbs, replacement of consumables, etc.)

e) Photovoltaic power generation facilities..

BENEFICIARIES

SMEs and self-employed individuals with headquarters or business locations in Galicia that operate in the service sector according to the specified CNAE sections.
