MR351A AGRICULTURAL MACHINERY UNDER A COOPERATIVE MODEL IN GALICIA 2025
PURPOSE
The purpose of this order is to establish the regulatory framework for the granting of grants, on a competitive basis, for the use of agricultural machinery on a cooperative basis within the framework of the 2014–2022 Rural Development Program for Galicia.
For the purpose of:
- To promote the cooperative use of agricultural machinery and equipment.
- Promote the adoption of new technologies in the use of machinery and equipment.
- Streamline machining costs
AMOUNT OF AID 80%
- Funds to pay for streamlining machining costs:
- To subsidize slurry distribution equipment and for phytosanitary treatments that contribute to climate change mitigation and adaptation, with50% of the funding allocated.
- Line Item 2 to subsidize the remaining agricultural machinery, funded with theremaining 50% of the credit
The aid will amount to 35% of eligible costs, which may be increased to a maximum of 50% based on the application of the following criteria:
- 5% for investments in areas with natural constraints or other specific constraints listed in Article 32 of Regulation (EU) No. 1305/2013
- 10% in the case of collective investments, when the beneficiary is the result of a merger
TYPE OF SUPPORT
Eligible investments are as follows:

- Agricultural machinery
- Technical and Economic Feasibility Studies
The following will not be subsidized:
- The mere replacement or purchase of secondhand or used machinery
- VAT and Other Taxes
- Investments in machinery or equipment related to the processing and marketing of agricultural or forestry products, or machinery of minor significance from the perspective of the group’s members as a whole
- Forestry machinery and investments
- Forage harvesters intended for less than 500 hours of use per year
- Machinery for applying slurry using disc, fan, or cannon systems
All bids received from all bidders will be accepted, regardless of the requirement to submit a minimum of three bids from different suppliers

- €1,000 is the maximum eligible cost for technical and economic feasibility studies.
- A minimum eligible investment of 20,000 € is required to qualify for the grant. The maximum total eligible investment per beneficiary will be 600,000 €.
BENEFICIARIES
- Agricultural Cooperatives
- Cooperative Associations for the Shared Use of Machinery (CUMA)
- Community-based land cooperatives that are 5 years old or younger.
- Agricultural processing companies resulting from the merger of at least.
- two farms, over the past 5 calendar years. Hereinafter, “merged SAT.”
Requirements for all entities receiving the grant Minimum employment stability rate:
- Justify the need for and feasibility of the investments by presenting a feasibility study.
- Not be considered a company in financial distress.
Individuals or entities that fall under any of the circumstances set forth in Article 13 of Law 38/2003 of November 17, the General Law on Subsidies (
), and in Article 10.2 of Law 9/2007 of June 13, the Galician Law on Subsidies (
), shall not be eligible to receive the subsidies regulated in this order (
).- In the case of agricultural cooperatives, cooperatives for the shared use of
agricultural machinery (CUMA) must have at least four members. - Agricultural processing cooperatives whose primary corporate purpose is the use of
machinery must have at least four members. - Community-based land cooperatives must have at least
four members. - Agricultural operations, agricultural cooperatives, and agricultural processing companies
must be registered in the corresponding
official registries

APPLICATION PERIOD: From August 6, 2025, through September 5, 2025
PROJECT DURATION:From the date of application through November 15, 2025
TYPE OF SUPPORT: Point-based
