45% OF ELIGIBLE COSTS
PURPOSE
To strengthen the productive base in rural areas of Galicia by facilitating the acquisition ofcapital goodsessential for business operations. The aid aims to modernize, improve, and expand theproduction and/or service infrastructureof existing businesses, thereby promoting growth and economic sustainabilityin these areas.
AMOUNT OF THE GRANT (45% of eligible costs)
Project budget:
-
- General: Between €20,000 and €250,000.
- Handicrafts sector: Between €5,000 and €100,000.
ELIGIBLE EXPENSES
New capital equipment necessary for business operations and directly related to production or the provision of services.
ELIGIBLE ACTIVITIES:
Capital investment projects in the following sectors:
- Industry and production: Factories, workshops, and facilities used for the processing of goods and materials. (Investments in wood processing will be limited to secondary processing.)Processing and/or marketing of agricultural products (excluding projects with a budget exceeding€100,000).
Provision of services in any sector, except:
- Agricultural and forestry service companies.
- Energy service companies.
- Hospitality, hotel, and restaurant businesses (including tourist accommodations).
- Social services: Daycare centers, senior care centers, services for people with disabilities, farm-to-school programs, among others .
- Leisure, recreational, and sports activities.
- Traditional crafts and trades.
- Specialized sectors: Engineering, architecture, technical services, industrial cleaning, and veterinary services.
- Retail.
BENEFICIARIES
Micro-enterprises and small businesses located in rural areas, established before
as of September 1, 2024.
Individuals residing in rural areas who are enrolled in the program
Special program for self-employed individuals before September 1, 2024.
DEADLINES
APPLICATION PERIOD: FromJanuary 30, 2025, to February 28, 2025
PROJECT DURATION: From October 1, 2024, through September 30, 2025
DEADLINE FOR SUBMITTING SUPPORTING DOCUMENTATION: October 15 , 2025
