Maximum grant: 325,000€

PURPOSE

Thebusiness projects of innovative companies that require the use of technologies or knowledge developed through research activities and in which the business strategy is based on technology development. Alsoispriority is given to the inclusion of individuals with a Ph.D. into the company to strengthen its capacity to absorb and generate knowledge.

In addition, the amount of the grant may be increased up to +18,300€ for projects that have requested the training described in the section on Features. 

The budget minimum eligible budget will be €175,000 and a maximum of 750,000€. (Excluding training costs). 


TYPE OF SUPPORT

 

  • Opportunity to enroll in a course at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) or at the Enterprise Innovation Institute at the University of Georgia (Atlanta, U.S.) to enhance the company's training. (€10,000 for Georgiatech, €18,300 for MIT). 
  • The beneficiary may request an advance payment of up to 60% of the grant awarded for the project, up to a maximum of 150,000 euros. 
  • Strengthen support for business projects led by women. 

 

ELIGIBLE EXPENSES.

  1. The acquisition of fixed assets, both tangible and intangible.
  2. Personnel costs.
  3. Costs of materials and supplies.
  4. Costs associated with contracting external services and subcontracting.
  5. Other costs: rent, utilities, fees and licenses, application and maintenance costs 

patents and other industrial property rights, training, insurance, and other related expenses,  

as well as expenses related to promotion, outreach, and training. (Travel expenses related to training activities will also be eligible, 

offered by private or public entities, including business growth workshops or  

international programs for startups, such as the ICEX-Desafía Program, among others.) 

  1. Subcontracting may amount to up to 50% of the eligible budget.

  • Technology Centers and Support Centers. 
  • Other public or private R&D&I centers. 
  • Organizations that support technology transfer, dissemination, and outreach 

       scientific and technological, including science and technology parks. 

  • Associations and foundations. 
  • Public administrations. 

EXEMPT:

A) Individuals, self-employed individuals, joint property entities, corporations

individuals or general partnerships.

B) Economic Interest Groups, Joint Ventures, and Securities Investment Companies

and property-related. 

C)Religious congregations and institutions.

D) Businessesthat rely primarily on services provided to third parties, without developing their own technology.
