AMOUNT OF THE GRANT

Incentives for hiring employees

1. Incentives for initial permanent hires: Up to €14,500 per person

 

a) < 30 años: 6.000€

b) PLD (360 days is 540 days):€6,000

c) Returning emigrants or foreign nationals: €6,000

d) 52 years of age or older:€6,000

e) Women in the following groups (aged 45 and older, victims of gender-based violence, long-term unemployed, or economically inactive for the past 3 years with children under 3 years of age, or in male-dominated occupations): €10,000

f) People with disabilities or socially excluded individuals: €10,000*

g) A person who has completed or passed a training program: €10,000.

          h) Individuals who have had a training contract under the First Professional Experience Program in the last 2 years: €10,000

**For part-time contracts, the incentive will be proportional to the number of hours worked.

 

*The amount will be proportional to the actual time worked

*Except for the following: Cambre, A Coruña, Culleredo, Ferrol, Narón, Oleiros, Santiago de Compostela, Lugo, Barbadás, Ourense, Poio, Pontevedra, Vigo

 

2. Incentives to increase the workweek for permanent employees transitioning from part-time to full-time: Max.

3.000€

    • Total prize pool: €2,000
    • For people with disabilities: €3,000

3. Incentives to extend the annual duration of fixed-term seasonal contracts to a minimum of 9 months: €4,000

4. Grants for workplace modifications: €1,000 (work must be completed prior to submitting the application)

5. Conversion of training contracts under the First Professional Experience Program into permanent contracts. €5,000

TYPE OF SUPPORT

 Line 1:Incentives for hiring employees 

 

a) Incentives for permanent employment Initial: open-ended, full-time contracts (excluding fixed-term seasonal contracts). In the case of hiring individuals with disabilities or those at risk of social exclusion, the contract may be full-time or part-time (min. 50%) 

 

b) Incentives for increasing the workweek for permanent employees transitioning from part-time to full-time: such transitions will be eligible for funding when they reach 100% of the standard workweek or the workweek established in the applicable collective bargaining agreement. The transition must occur during the eligible period and either prior to or on the same date as the application for the grant.

 

c) Incentives to extend the annual duration of fixed-term seasonal contracts to a minimum of 9 months:_ The extension must be at least 50% of the initial contract duration. It must take place during the eligible period and prior to or on the same date as the application for the grant.

Contracts for people with disabilities or at risk of social exclusion may be full-time or part-time.

d) Grants for adapting workstations or providing the personal protective equipment necessary to prevent workplace accidents involving people with disabilities.

 

 

IMPORTANT: 

 

    • An employee may only be replaced in the event of voluntary resignation, retirement, or death. In the event of termination, the grant must be repaid in full.
    • Grants for workplace modifications (not for the employee) 36 months

BENEFICIARIES

  • Self-employed individuals who hire employees and companies, regardless of their legal structure. Companies with more than 50 employees must meet the quota for hiring people with disabilities, which is at least 2% of their workforce. 
  • Special employment centers (except for contracts for people with disabilities).
  • Job placement agencies (excluding contracts with individuals who are socially excluded or at risk of social exclusion).
  • Hiring must take place at workplaces in Galicia between October 1, 2025, and September 30, 2026.
  • They must be registered as job seekers with the SEPE.

APPLICATION PERIOD: From February 17, 2026, to September 30, 2026.
