PURPOSE

Incentives for the initial hiring of unemployed individuals on permanent contracts and for their training, aimed at self-employed individuals and professionals whose registered and tax addresses are in Galicia.

·          Work center in a rural town hall*

·          People over the age of 45 (this will not apply if the benefit is granted to the group of people over the age of 52)

Permanent employment contracts may be full-time or part-time (min. 50%), including fixed-term seasonal contracts (minimum duration of 6 months)

Training Bonus (optional) 2,000€ per position

 

The training will be designed to improve the knowledge and skills of individuals hired through the hiring voucher. It may be conducted using the beneficiary’s own resources or through an external organization or experts. 

Course Features:

      • Duration: At least 70 hours.
      • Deadline: Within the first three months of the contract's start date, with a deadline of October 30, 2025.
      •  Course formats:
          •  Through the beneficiary organization's own channels.
          • Through outsourcing at any of its facilities.
          • Online training is permitted, provided it is conducted on a certified virtual learning platform.

CONDITIONS FOR ELIGIBLE HIRINGS

1. Contract performance period:

        •   The hiring must take place before or on the same day the grant is applied for.
        •   It must be reported through the Contrata platform within a maximum of 10 business days from the start date.
        •   Eligible hires must have taken place between October 1, 2024, and September 30, 2025.

2. Acceptable forms of employment:

        •    Initial open-ended contract.
        •     A fixed-term, intermittent contract with a minimum duration of 6 months per year.

3. Workday:

        •     It may be full-time or part-time, provided that the part-time position involves at least 50% of the workweek as established in:
            • The applicable collective bargaining agreement.
            • Failing that, the maximum legal standard workday.

4. Number of eligible hires:

        •   Subsidies will be provided for the first, second, and third initial permanent hires made by a self-employed individual or professional.
        •    The second and third hires may be eligible for subsidies even if the first (and second, if applicable) were made previously and do not meet the requirements for this assistance.

5. Requirements for the person to be hired:

        •    She must be registered as unemployed with the public employment service at the time of hiring.

BENEFICIARIES

The following individuals are eligible for financial assistance:

        •  Self-employed individuals.
        • Professionals.

Eligible Hires:

        • First permanent position.
        • Second permanent position.
        • Third permanent position.

Exclusions: The following individuals or entities are not eligible to receive benefits:

1. Based on prior activity:

          • Those who, as self-employed workers, have carried out the same or a similar activity during the three months prior to their new Social Security enrollment.
          • An activity will be considered the same if it matches up to the three-digit level in the National Classification of Economic Activities (CNAE).

2. By type of entity or corporate relationship:

          •  General partnerships.
          •   Community property.
          •    Members or community members who are part of these organizations.
          •     Self-employed contractors.

PROJECT DURATION: From October 1, 2024, to September 30, 2025
