PURPOSE
Grants for hiring employees, provided by companies and employers, to help unemployed young people under the age of 30 gain their first professional experience through training contracts.

TYPE OF SUPPORT
LINE 1:INTERNSHIP PROGRAM:
Contracts for professional internships entered into with unemployed workers—preferably those registered with SEPE—who are residents of Galicia, under 30 years of age and over 16 years of age, and who hold a university degree (bachelor’s, master’s, or doctorate), or an intermediate or advanced vocational qualification, a specialist certificate, a professional master’s degree, or a certificate from the vocational training system, as well as those who hold an equivalent degree in arts or sports from the educational system.
They may not have more than 1 year (365 days) of professional experience in the same GC in which they are hired.Hiring must take place within3 years (5 years for people with disabilities) of completing their studies.
LINE 2:WORK-STUDY TRAINING PROGRAM.
Work-study training contracts with unemployed individuals (registered with the SEPE) who are under 30 and over 16 years of age and reside in Galicia; these contracts may be entered into with individuals who lack professional qualifications recognized by the required degrees and certificates. Notwithstanding the foregoing, contracts linked to vocational training programs may be entered into with individuals who hold another qualification, provided they have not previously had a training contract for a program at the same educational level and in the same economic sector.
BENEFICIARIES
- Employers and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), regardless of their legal form (including self-employed individuals, jointproperty entities, and unincorporated partnerships); Special employment centers andjob placement agencies;
- Except: contracts with people with disabilities and people who are excluded or at risk of exclusion social
- Beneficiaries who do not fulfill at least 50% of the contracts awarded to themwill be excluded from the next call for proposals.
DEADLINES
APPLICATION PERIOD: From May 27, 2025, through September 30, 2025
PERIOD OF EXECUTION: Contracts entered into on or after October 16, 2024, and no later than October 15, 2025
Once the award decision has been received, the period for awarding the contract will be 25 business days.
DEADLINE FOR SUBMITTING SUPPORTING DOCUMENTATION: Contracts: 10 business days from the date of contract signing, no later than October 30, 2024
